This was a live interview with Ramblin' Robert of KRVM fame. We set Ramblin'
Robert up to ask Fiddlin' Big Sue just where she had played around the Eugene
area. See if you can count the venues. We came up with over one hundred. We were
laughing so hard we lost count and Sue just rambled on and on.
Thanks Ramblin' Robert for the fun that night. Home
Fiddlin' Big Sue from Eugene, Oregon. She has lived and worked here since 1975. Ten years on the road with The Whiskey Creek String Band, 20 years as the Fiddlin' Big Sue, Uncle T & Johnny Band mixed in with recording, musicals, concerts, quest artist on recording, TV commercials and Radio Promos and more. You can always count on her for something different, exciting and powerful.
Tom "Uncle T" Hunnel picks the guitar, mandolin, and tenor banjo for your listening pleasure. Most of the lead vocals fall to Uncle T and quite a bit of the stage chatter seems to emanate from his microphone. We are trying to get him to stop joking around but I think he is too far over the edge.
Thomas "Zane" Heifner hails from the country side just outside of Eugene. One of the original members of the Whiskey Creek String Band Zane went on to host the West Side Blues Jam for the last twenty years. His love of the blues and blues rock make a welcome addition to the band. Zane writes and performs his original songs with the band.
As needed the band can expand to a five or even six piece group depending on the gig and the logistics. Call 541-689-0072 or email Tom@flamewrangler.com for more information.
