The Early Bird Discount will work like this for 2010 tax returns. 15% off posted prices if you call before Feb 15 and make an appointment for before March 15. YOU MUST PAY IN FULL AT THE APPOINTMENT OR YOU LOSE THE DISCOUNT.

My Package A which covers the typical home owner is $150.00. HR block would be $350.00. A typical CPA could run $400.00 to $600.00.

With my discount Package would be $150.00 - 15% = 127.50.

I will be raising my prices about 5%. Its that or close forever.

Sole Proprietor audits are up. Especially if you have payroll. 6,000 due in 2010.

Per Diem Audits are a real thing. If you are out on the road for work and you are staying in lodging and eating food you can take the per diems. However, you better be able to prove, beyond a doubt, that you really did travel to those places and you really did conduct business or work on that trip. The idea of the per diem is to give a fair reimbursement to the taxpayer when they are out of pocket while working for the government. Then personal businesses go involved. Now everyone wants a bite. Excessive per diems will be looked at.

Package A - The Home Owner $150

Package C - Self-Employed or Farms. $200.00

Efile Special - single, education credits, etc $80.00.

Senior Special $80.00.

Out of state is $50.00 per state. Check out the organizers on the left and come prepared. You can walk out with your return efiled, your refund on its way or paying the least amount of tax possible. I take Mastercharge and Visa as well as local checks and cash!

Estimated tax payments, what the heck? Why do you have to pay estimated taxes? Because you owed more then $1,000.00 at the end of the year. The IRS and the State want quarterly payments the second year you expect to owe more than $1,000.00. They payments are based on last years figures or this year if you have them.

The Cost of Not Filing. Fasten your seat belt.

You can triple the amount owed in a few years. Always file even if you can't pay! Payment plans are available and easy to set up. Offer in Compromise are more difficult and require lots of paper work. You must have positive cash flow to qualify for this option. The nugget is file even if you can't pay. A payment plan is much better than a demand for payment followed by a garnishment followed by levy. Your bank, trust and inheritance can all be levied.
