PAYROLL SERVICES |

I can provide the latest tax tables and tax regulations for the IRS and Oregon using QuickBooks. I have been using QuickBooks since 1991. I use a Pro Adviser Edition with a license to do payroll for as many companies that I want. I can provide several layers of service that are described on the next two columns. I prepare all the payroll checks and/or pay stubs, 941, 940, 1099's, 1096's, W3 and W2's. I send all the Oregon reports by the Oregon Otter Program which is made by the state for Efiling payroll reports. I do not actually handle any money or mail any checks. |
The Whole Deal You fax and email your report to me. I fax you back the paychecks or you can come by and pick them up. When payroll reports are due you come by and pick them up. They will always be on time. You must transmit your information by Noon on Thursday to get it by Noon Friday. So a Noon Friday transmission would get back to you by Noon the following Monday. Included in this package is: Five Day Turn Around Time on Paychecks. Payroll Deposits ready by the 14th of the month after the payroll. This may change according to your needs. Payroll reports are ready ahead of time and can be picked up no later the 15th of the month due. Futa, W2 and W3, and the final payroll reports are ready for pickup by January 15. Oregon final Otter report transmitted. Cost: $100.00 set up fee for up to 5 employees. $200. for ten to fifteen. After that its a $50.00 fee billed in 15 minute increments. 1 to 5 is about one half hour. 5 to 15 is about one hour. Payroll reports are not included in the fee. They are charged by the form not by time. |
The Other Deal You bring your QuickBooks backup to my office. I figure your payroll while you sit there. You leave with all the necessary documents, tax forms, backups and are billed $50.00 per hour. I keep a safe copy of your file. If you have a DSL or Cable line I could email you your file if it got lost or damaged. After a while we could do the whole thing over the phone and the internet. It works Great! The file at your office should NOT be used until you get the payroll back and restore your company file with the new backup. The Icky Stuff Nobody likes a company file gone astray. After Tax Season is over I do work on company files that have run amok. Maybe the G/L's from the tax return have never been posted. The depreciation never matches the tax return. In most case the information is there it is just not posted correctly. If you bring me two years of tax returns and a copy of your file I could have it back to you in a few days with it a perfect match to your tax returns.
